On December 21, 2024 the Ohio State Buckeyes entered the College Football Playoff on shaky ground. They had lost their final regular season game against archrival Michigan in a shocking upset. The offensive line was in flux, there were rumors of Tennessee fans taking over Ohio Stadium, and the “Natty or Bust” mindset seemed like wishful thinking.
On January 20, 2025 the Ohio State Buckeyes wrapped up a remarkable four-game stretch in which they defeated the nation’s No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 9 teams, each by double digits. In 30 days, they went from a national punchline to national champions.
